Deputy Clerk of Court
The McLean Clerk of Court’s Office is seeking one or more detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Deputy Clerk of Court(s) to assist in the daily operations of the court system. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate court records, supporting judicial proceedings, and delivering exceptional service to the public, attorneys, law enforcement, and other agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and maintain court records, filings, and legal documents in accordance with state laws and court procedures.
• Attend and record court proceedings as needed.
• Prepare and issue court documents such as summonses, warrants, and subpoenas.
• Collect and process fines, fees, and court costs.
• Provide information and assistance to the public regarding court services.
• Work closely with judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and other court personnel.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive legal records.
• Perform data entry and use case management systems.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, public administration, or related field preferred.
• Previous clerical or court experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal/case management software.
• Knowledge of court systems and legal terminology a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Equipment Operator II - Washburn
The McLean County Highway Department is seeking one or more reliable and skilled Equipment Operator IIs to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support county projects, including road maintenance, construction, snow removal, and other public works. If you have experience with heavy equipment operation and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement in the department. The new team member must live within 60 minutes travel time of Washburn.

Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience, a high school diploma, and a Class A North Dakota Driver’s License with tanker and air brake endorsement.
