Position Summary

Ideal candidates will operate a variety of heavy equipment to support county projects, including road maintenance, construction, and snow removal. If you have experience with heavy equipment operation and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply. The new team member must live within 60 minutes travel time of Washburn.

Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience, a high school diploma, and a Class A North Dakota Driver’s License with tanker and air brake endorsement. Starting base salary range for the Equipment Operator II level is $53,928.56 - $59,196.58 per year based on experience. Starting base salary range for the Equipment Operator III level is $61,108.53 - $67,068.11 per year based on experience.
